I apologize you for disturbing

Ion Andronache
Dear Sir,
I apologize you for disturbing. My name is Ion Andronache and I am professor PhD in Braila, Romania I need advice if it is possible. How could I determine the fractal dimension with a good precision for a RGB image with blood vessels using ImageJ?  (I attached a image - 1b 00.jpg). What would it be the best way to determine? First must to turn into binary image  (with treshold), and finally to make the determination of fractal dimension for the resulting binary image? I tried different binarize forms but it gives very unlike results. Would you recommend a solution? I look forward to your response.
Yours sincerely,
Ion Andronache.
