I have a problem in FIJI concerning analysis of multi selected ROI’s

Jens Peter Stougaard Steen
Hi all

I have a problem in FIJI concerning analysis of multi selected ROI’s.

I am studying the content of lipid in skeletal muscles fibers, and I want to segment and measure the lipid separately in each fiber. As seen in the attach picture I have 11 ROI’s and now I want to analyze the amount of lipid inside each ROI at the same time. I need the results separated into 11 column’s, one for each fiber and this step have not been possible for me to do. Any one that can help with this?
I have been able to activate all 11 ROI’s and the use Analyze particles, but then I just get one column with the results from all 11 fibers without separation. And then it is not posiple for me to use the data.

Best regards

Re: I have a problem in FIJI concerning analysis of multi selected ROI's

Straub, Volko A. (Dr.)
In the ROI manager panel click on the "More" option - in the menu you will find a "Multi Measure" option. This will measure all of your ROIs individually and add the measurements to the Results table. Just make sure that you have either all or none of your ROIs selected, otherwise only the selected ROIs will be measured.

Hope this helps,
Volko
