Icons for Tools

lechristophe
Hi everybody,

I just came across the work of Mark James, who draws little web icons as
a relaxing hobby. There are hundreds of 16x16 PNG and GIF icons, and as
I understood it, they're free for use (at least for non commercial
purpose, I'm don"t know much about licences)

The thing is they are perfect for tool buttons in ImageJ, and as I now
use the new "toolbar set" heavily for several-step macros, I use them a lot.

You can see and download the three icon sets at :

http://www.famfamfam.com/lab/icons/

For those who use the Netvibes personnal page service (wonderful
personnalized modular homepage), the "mini" set from M. James is used as
icons to customize tabs.

"Free for non-commercial purpose" is not good enough for ImageJ; ImageJ is
public domain, which does not allow for such a restriction.

But as you can read on the web-site, Mark said they are free, and did not
add any restriction to that "free".

Ciao,

P.S.: Don't you find it funny how people say something is "free", and then
add some sentences, which makes it non-free?
