Hello everyone. I have been trying to figure out how to count cells in
brain slices that are co-labeled with 2 or more fluorescent tags. For
instance, we have cells that contain fluorogold, Cy2 and Cy5
epifluorescence. Not all cells have all 3 labeling. If a cell has a
single label we use the Cell Counter plugin, but with the multiple
labeling this becomes more difficult because not all labeling is of the
same intensity, so we need to toggle the various colors off/on for
clarity. We now use the Image5D plugin to combine all colors and turn
them off and on to ensure the cells have one or more label. However, the
Cell Counter plugin will not work with Image5D and the point picker only
allows one color for counting. Does anyone have another suggestion or
plugin that will do a similar function? Thank you for the help.
