Image J program fails to open ANY files

Dean Staus
I have recently installed Image J on a new Lenovo T500 laptop running
32-bit windows XP. Image J opens fine but upon trying to open any file
the program crashes (open file browsing window appears for a split
second).  I can also drag and drop various files (Jpeg, Tiff, etc) into
Image J and they will open without a problem.  However, if I try to
save the file the program will crash. I have become a regular user of
Image J and I am quite lost without it. I have updated my Java and have
uninstalled and then reinstalled the program, none of which worked.
Any help regarding this issue would be greatly appreciated. Thank you
for your time.

Sincerely,

Dean P. Staus

In the Edit>Options, you can set the JFileChooser to open/save. Try changing
that setting and see if it solves it.
