Image Stack Irregular Particle Track

For tracking irregular particles in image stack(the demension of each particle changing irregularly), I need some examples about tracking skills with ImageJ. Can someone share some similar experience with me? Thank you.

I'm working on a problem of this kind. The hardest part, I believe, is
locating particle positions in an image. The images I'm working with
need a lot of pre-processing to enhance the contrast of the particles.
This is not a solved problem as far as I'm concerned.
