ImageJ and Nikon DXM camera

I am currently using a Nikon E1000 microscope with a DXM1200 digital  
camera attached to a PC and either ACT-1 software or Image Pro. What I  
really would like to do is use ImageJ (on a Mac Pro) and some Mac  
software to acquire digital images using the DXM1200 camera. Anyone  
have any suggestions as to options, such as plug-ins for ImageJ that  
might work?
