ImageJ file type support - 3DHistech's Panoramic slide files .mrxs supported?

littlemissme
Hi,

I have used 3D Histech's Panoramic slide viewer to take digitized images of whole slides. The software produced by 3D Histech for viewing data and extracting images for publication is only PC compatible. I was wondering if anyone knows whether there is a plugin for ImageJ for examining the data, cropping relevant areas etc. The file type produced is .mrxs

Many thanks in advance!

Hi,

Support for this file format could certainly be added to Bio-Formats
(http://loci.wisc.edu/bio-formats/imagej), provided that you can send at
least one example file.  Information on how to send example files to the
Bio-Formats developers has been sent off-list.

Regards,
-Melissa

Hi littlemissme,

I have the same problem as you have described. I would also like to use ImageJ for the analysis of digitalized scans from 3D Histech's Panoramic slide viewer.
You found a solution for this problem?
Thanks a lot for your help.
I am looking forward to hear from you.
Best,
Mahmut
