Installing Fiji on Linux, error

JaapK
I'm trying to install Fiji on Ubuntu 10.10 using the instructions given on the fiji website but I get the following error:

The following packages have unmet dependencies:
fiji : Depends: sun-java6-bin but it is not installable
E: Broken packages

Does anyone have an idea how to solve this? I'm new to Linux (for the 10th time I think), and it is stuff like this that always drives me back into the arms of Microsoft...

Kind regards,
Jaap Kokorian

There are instructions how you can get help (written in bold face)
directly below the section header "Packages for Debian / Ubuntu".

Of course, if Microsoft is easier for you, you should definitely stay with
it!

If you still want to try with Linux, you could use a single-file archive
(http://pacific.mpi-cbg.de/wiki/index.php/Fiji#Downloads) as you would
have to do with Windows.

Ubuntu 10.04 and later no longer include Sun Java in the main repository.
You can install it by enabling the Canonical partner repository; see:
