Installing Threshold_Blur Plugin

rmakanza
Dear Everyone
When I installed the Threshold_Blur plugin:http://imagejdocu.tudor.lu/doku.php?id=plugin:filter:thresholded_blur:start, in image j and run it, it is giving me this error message:java.lang.ClassFormatError: Truncated class file. The plugin file was initially 7KB, but after running the installed plugin, it is 0KB.

May you please assist.

Re: Installing Threshold_Blur Plugin

Hi Makanza (?),

if you are using Fiji, please install the class file, not the Java File. There is a problem with Compile&Run under Fiji.
This .class file should have 6530 bytes. If you use Internet Explorer to download .class files, they may get truncated due to a bug in IE. Then use a different Browser such as Firefox.

Hope this helps,

Michael

Thank you very much Michael. I downloaded the .class using Baidu and it looked ok. But when I used the install plugin option of image j, the file size was 0KB from 7KB.

A colleague suggested that I download the file again after installation and replace the 0KB file and this idea worked.
