there seems to be a bug at least in the most actual version of 64 Bit
ImageJ on Windows 64:
It is not possible to run more than 1 instance of ImageJ when "run
single image listener" remains unchecked. The 32 Bit version of ImageJ
however which I also have on my machine, responds properly to switching
of the instance options.
