LIF - color and zoom questions

Sagar Joshi
hi List -

I have 2 questions -

1. If I have a double color image (red and green), it seems that invariably,
when I open the LIF set in IMAGEJ, it reverses the colors. Is there a way to
fix it? It is a bit confusing at times.

2. When I have 2 TIFS (generated from confocal) with two different
objectives (and different zoom), is there a simple and accurate way to match
these two images at the same zoom? for e.g. if i want to compare 2 different
images taken at different zooms/objectives for visually comparing their
properties such as area

Thanks.

Are you using the Bio-Formats plugin to open LIF files?  If so, this problem
has been fixed in the latest trunk build of Bio-Formats (available at
http://loci.wisc.edu/ome/formats-download.html).
