LSM Reader problem!

Hariharan Iyer
Hi,
I was happily using the LSM reader plugin to open *.lsm files and image
info, and it was working great.
Now all of a sudden, I am not able to open images using LSM Reader. When I
open a *.lsm file, I just get a 'Log' window which just tells me the total
number of images (including all z-stacks and channels)  in the *.lsm file,
but no images and no image info.
I recently upgraded  to Java 1.5.0_06.  And also installed the latest
ImageJ. Could that be the problem?

I would appreciate any help that would bring my 'happiness' back. ;-)

Thanks,
Hari

Hello Hari,

Since ImageJ 1.36b, a minimal version of the LSM_Reader is included in the
ImageJ release. This minimal version opens LSM images but does not show any
additional information. If you updated your ImageJ, you probably overwrote
the complete LSM_Reader plugin with the minimal one. Simply revert to your
previous version of the LSM_Reader, by replacing the minimal plugin by the
complete plugin.

By the way, I'm currently updating the LSM_Reader (minimal and complete) to
implement the newest tags. I also smashed a bug where LSM files containing
both 16bit and float were not interpreted correctly.

If your problem persists, feel free to send me an image and I'll try to make
it work with the plugin.

Best regards,

Patrick
