MCID .IM reader?

Tony Collins-2
Hi,

I've somebody wanting to open MCID .IM images  in ImageJ. Has anybody
written a import plugin for this file type? MCID have not been
forthcoming with the file specs.

I've had some success writing one by trial and (lots of) error but could
do with some help. I can get the 16-bit images imported but I'm having a
bit of trouble with the colour images. I've imported one as raw RGB,
saved it as a TIF and put it here:
http://www.uhnresearch.ca/facilities/wcif/images/MCID.tif

Can anybody suggest where the problem may be from this image? Offset?
Gap between images? Image type? etc.
If you open this image in imageJ, turn off interpolation and zoom to
12.5% it looks OK!

Any help appreciated.

Regards,

Tony
