How are you opening the DICOM files within ImageJ? Did you try the Tudor
DICOM Tools plugin? Did you try the Bio-Formats Importer? Both of these
support DICOM and may be more likely to parse the micron lengths.
If none of these options read the micron lengths properly, let us know. If
you are willing to send a sample dataset, we can fix the problem.
