I have uploaded a sample image here:
http://www.sendspace.com/file/1vfnrmI'm look for a way to measure the diameter (including myelin) of each of the axons in this image.
So far I've tried:
Process > Binary > Make Binary
Analyze > Analyze Particles > size 10-infinity, circularity 0.5-1, show outlines > OK
and I get an average size of 154 pixels
Do you guys think this is an OK method for measuring the axon diameters?
