Merge images to single page multipage Tiff

Hi,

 New to this forum.

 I have sets of 5 images where each image is a single tiff with grayscale of one channel and I have 5 channels.

 I would like to batch process a folder with these sets of images to create a single tiff for each set that includes the 5 channels in a single tiff.

 I have played a bit with imagej but have not been succesful in getting anywhere.

 Would there be a way to do this?
