Mouse lock-up when adding ROI to ROI Manager

Hi all

When I add point ROIs to the ROI manager by hitting [t], the mouse is
momentarily frozen. For about half a second the cursor does not respond
to mouse input.  I usually add several point ROIs in quick succession,
so this is quite annoying.  It seems to be a new behaviour, too.  Has
anyone else seen it?

I'm using ImageJ 1.43m on Java 1.6.0_15 (64-bit), Ubuntu Karmic.
