I have serial sections that need to be aligned. Usually I use Stack Registration with SIFT, but these sections are fluorescently stained with total of 5 different channels. This and other plugins have issues with images that are not 8-bit or 24-bit. Once a 5-channel image is converted to 24-bit, I can't convert them back to 5 channels. There are over 20 sections to align.
Any advice, anyone?
