My bike broke down right before a motorcycle rally

Fantomus
Had a motorcycle rally coming up that I've been looking forward to for months. My bike decided to die on me last week, took it in to get checked and turns out the damage is way more serious than I thought. There's no way it's getting fixed in time. Really don't want to bail on the rally though, been planning this for too long. Anyone know if renting a motorcycle is actually a viable option? Never looked into it before.

Renting is more common than most people think, especially around rally season when demand spikes. Worth checking what kind of bike the rally crowd tends to ride so you show up on something that fits in. Insurance is the part most people overlook when renting, make sure whatever you sign covers you properly on the road and not just for the rental itself.

Availability moves fast around popular events, so the sooner you lock something in the better the selection you'll have to pick from. Waiting too long usually means settling for whatever's left. When I need a motorcycle rental I always check options near me here: https://getrentacar.com/en-US/motorcycle-rental . Good range of bikes on there and you can filter by location to see what's actually available close to you.
