OS X: "The Application ImageJ canceled shut down"

Michael Schmid
Hi ImageJ users on Mac computers,

when I log out or shut down the computer, with ImageJ running, but no open windows, I get a message
"The application ImageJ canceled shut down. To try again, quit ImageJ and choose Apple menu > shut down."
The message comes although ImageJ actually does quit, but I have to press the OK button of that message box.

It is only a very minor nuisance, but nevertheless, does anyone know how to get rid of it?

Hi Michael,

I also have an error message when trying to shut down without first
quitting IJ/Fiji. It's in French but it translates to "IJ/Fiji has
cancelled the shutdown". Minor problem I agree, maybe more
Java-related than IJ specific (although I never tried with another
Java-based application).
