Open AFM images

Ovrec
Hello everybody,
I need to open AFM images taken with a Veeco Dimension Icon Atomic Force Microscope.
The microscope is driven by last version of the Nanoscope (Digital Instruments ?) software.
The file format seems to be the Nanoscope V. The file looks like a text image with a very long header. The latter reports all the informations about the microscope settings like scan size, z-range etc.

Now I'm using the Open_NV plug-in, but it as some bugs: scale and calibration of the image are lost and the image results to be vertically flipped. Furthermore, with this plug-in it is not possible to open automatically a series of images within a folder.

I read that there should be a macro that would make ImageJ able to do this work.
I know as well that Image SXM program (always derived from NIH Image) is able to deal properly with this images but it lack in some image processing functions available in ImageJ.

Thank you in advance

Adding support for the Nanoscope format to Bio-Formats is currently in
progress. The author of ImageSXM was kind enough to provide us with details
regarding all the file formats it can handle, as well as some sample images.
So it is only a matter of time as we tackle them one by one. For details,
see this ticket:

If you wish, we can CC you on the ticket, so that you are notified when
progress is made. Just let us know.
