PLOT PROFILE

Eva Panta
Dear All,

Does anyone know how I can draw an identical line in two different images (2 separate channels, red and green), so when I use plot profile I can be sure that I'm comparing the same pixels (grey values) in each image?

Thank you in advance.

You want to use the ROI manager.
Once you drew the first profile, press T to add it to the ROI manager.
You can call it back after-while by selecting another image and
selecting the ROI in the manager.

cheers

Hi Eva,

looks like you need the Sync Windows plugin:

Dear Eva,
you can:
- use the ROI Manager (Analyse>Tools) to store the line you draw on the first
image and recall it in the second
- if you work with RGB stacks (channels in slice) you can simply scroll the
z-slicer
- if you want a direct readout you can use the RGB profiler plugin working
directly on RGB images
hope it helps

I wrote 2 plugins that I never use (!)

IsoPhotContour and IsoPhotContour2

Let me know if they do not work.

Hi Eva,

If you want to compare different color channels, you can use the color
profiler plugin, which you can find on the plugins page.  This will allow
you to list the values as well as present them graphically.

Best of Luck,

Joel
