Dear Colleagues,
Greetings,
I am trying to obtain a particle distribution chart from ImageJ for a soil sample to compare it with the mechanical sieve results. However, I did it through converting the "Area" results from ImageJ into an equivalent diameter of each particle, and then I grouped each diameter of the same three digits and counted the diameters frequency to convert it into a percentage, then I calculate the cumulative percentage. Finally, the sizes I got from ImageJ are quite larger than the sieve results. Is this method of obtaining the PSD from ImageJ correct? Or is there any easier method to obtain the PSD chart directly from ImageJ? Thanks for your kind support
Heartiest Desideratum,
Yours Truly,
