Presenting myself/Q: Instant Rotation Centre

Pablo Galilea
Dear All,
My name is Pablo Galilea, PhD candidate in Veterinary Sciences at the
University of Sassari.
I'm trying to get the Instant (or instantaneous) Rotation Centre of each
Femoral condyles in a radiograph, and I was suggested to use this software.
Unfortunately, I've been unable to understand how to do such task and would
really appreciate your help in order to continue with this. I tried with a
plugin called Bones J but couldn't get to do it either with it.

Yours Faithfully,
Pablo Galilea A.

John Hipp
At least Two radiographs of the joint in different positions would be needed to determine COR.
If you have only a few cases, you can send them to me and I can send an animation back showing the COR along with the coordinates. We use validated  custom software that not externally available.

John Hipp, Ph.D.

Hi Pablo,

BoneJ doesn't contain the functionality you need, and it's unlikely to in the near future because BBSRC Committee C chose last week to not fund the engineer we applied for, to help with applications just like yours.

But, thanks for your interest. We'll try again to get support, later this year.

Michael
