Problem opening DICOM clips

Niklas König
Hey,

I am currently trying to analyse large DICOM clips (200MB) which I
collected with a ultrasound machine (here they are called Cine loop).
In order to import the DICOM files I am using the LOCI plugin which was
successful for simple (and smaller) ultrasound pictures.

After increasing ImageJ's (32-bit) memory to 500MB I got rid of the "Out
of memory" message that I got when I first tried to open these clips.
Now I can progress in importing these DICOM files (file/import/bio
formats) the only problem is that it seems to open only the first three
frames (or the first frame in three different manners). The command line
is as follows:
1/3 (c:1/3 - Series 0)

Has anybody experienced similar problems or is familiar with opening
these kinds of files?
I am most thankful for any idea that could help here.
Thank you very much!
Regards,

Niklas

It may be a bug in the Bio-Formats DICOM reader. Would you be willing to
submit a sample DICOM file that exhibits the problem? You can use the Help
> Upload Sample Image command in the Fiji ImageJ distribution (
http://fiji.sc/). Or if the file is very large, let me know and I'll send
you our SFTP server information off-list.

Curtis
