Problem with Compressed DICOM Images

Hello,

I got the following exception in text window when i am trying to open the DICOM images in ImageJ version 1.38X.

"java.io.IOException
ImageJ cannot open compressed DICOM Images
Transfer Systax UID = 1.2.840.10008.1.2.4.70"

But I want to work with DICOM compressed images.
Is it possible to do this with ImageJ ?
or any plugin available for this.

I am very interested in adding support for compressed DICOM images to
our Bio-Formats library. Would you be willing to send us some sample
compressed files, for us to use for testing? If so, I can pass along

Hi,

 you could try this dicom plugin which is
 able to read dicom jpeg lossless images:
 (it is also able to read an entire directory
  of images into a stack)

 it uses the dcm4che library from Gunter Zeilinger, which works very well.
