Problems to install ImageJ plugins on MacOS

Teresa Drechsel
Dear Sir/Madam,
my name is Teresa and I'm new in the imageJ business.
I need the plugin "RGB measure". So I downloaded it (like they said in
the instructions) and put it in the imageJ folder under the folder
"analyze". But everytime I try to "compile an run", it says
'java.lang. not found' or likewise 'class.lang not found'.
I really don't know what I do wrong and I searched in the web for a
solution but couldn'd find one.
I think it has something to do with me using a macbook, I found on the
homepage the sub 'Compiles and runs a plugin. Runs a plugin if the
name of the selected file ends in ".class". Requires that ImageJ be
running on a Java Virtual Machine that includes the javac compiler,
which is contained in the tools.jar archive. Tools.jar is included
with the Windows and Linux versions of ImageJ bundled with Java, and
it is pre-installed on Mac OSX. '
I could't find the tools.jar but I downloaded a Javac Compiler
(BlueJ), but this didn't help.

Maybe one of you can help me, because I don't know who else I can ask...
Please answer simple, I'm really not a pro in ImageJ :)
Yours sincerly
Teresa

Dear Teresa Drechsel,

you may be happy using the IJ-macro "Measure_RGB.txt" instead of the
plugin "RGB measure". As far as I can realize, it does the same as the
plugin "RGB measure".

With my IJ-installation, the IJ-macro "Measure_RGB.txt" resides in the
"plugins"-folder and is accessible from the IJ-Plugins menu. Hopefully
you will find this macro...

HTH
