Quantification of blood vessels

Jody Wujcik
I am using ImageJ for the first time and I am trying to get an idea of the capabilities of the program.  Specifically, I am measuring blood vessel diameters, lengths, and areas.  I want to use stereological methods in some of my calculations and was
wondering if there are grid overlays available to lock onto the images.  I will most likely need a point counting probe and also a test line probe.  Also, is there a way to overlay concentric circles, keeping them aligned and also locked to the
image?
I would appreciate any feedback or possible suggestions as to how I might proceed.

Thanks,
Jody Wujcik
