RGB stacks convert to 8bit grayscale

Rick
Hi All,

Using ImageJ 1.44 on linux, for some reason when I have an RGB image
stack, it loads into ImageJ as 8bit grayscale rather than RGB. If I
check a single image of the stack, it loads correctly in RGB, but when
loading the full stack, it's converted to grayscale. I made sure not to
check "convert to 8bit," so that's not the problem. Maybe this is a bug?
Any help is appreciated.

Thanks

If the first image in a series imported using File>Import>Image Sequence is 8-bit than the other images will be converted to 8-bit. You can work around this problem by checking "Convert to RGB" in the File>Import>Image Sequence dialog box.
