Regarding the postings about support for cameras in ImageJ: I agree that it
is useful to have full access to camera features from within ImageJ,
including the ability to control camera acquisition from Java.
My company has for years supplied SIDX, an ImageJ plug-in that supports
cameras from Andor, DVC, Hamamatsu, PCO/Cooke, Photometrics, Princeton
Instruments, RedShirtImaging, SciMeasure, and Spectral Instruments. SIDX
supports all camera features from Java, as much as we can in a
camera-independent manner.
SIDX will soon add support for QImaging cameras.
