I am looking to trace membrane tubules from a florescent image using imagej - however, I'd like to save these traces as an overlay such that I can subsequently run a sholl analysis. I can't seem to find a plugin that allows me to freehand trace these tubules and then save these tracings, excluding the original background image (I'd like these tracings alone on a black background). Any suggestions?
