Scale image alters pixel information?

Nicolás Pírez
Hi all, I have a question.
If I acquire a time lapse with MicroManager and save every frame as a tiff,
and then using ImageJ function Import>Image sequence I am able to have it
as a single tiff.

My question is that if during this process I scale the image (option is in
the Image Sequence Menu window) do I alter in any way the information
(intensity) of the pixels?

Thanks a lot.

Nico Pírez.

It may be faster to test the software yourself - then you really know.

Load your images twice, once with the scale option and once without.
Then compare the results - look at the two final images or see the intensity ranges using analyse/ histogram.
