Segmented Line Tool with Angle Measurement

Hi,

I'm trying to measure neurite outgrowth at different angles. I would like to know if I can config the segmented line tool or straight line tool for this purpose.
Basically, I want to set the length of each segement to be a certain fixed value, say for example, 5 um; and at the same time, the angle of each segement relative to horizontal or vertical axis of the image.

I found this thread regarding set line length, but after I installed the macro it does not seem to function at all, as I can still draw lines exceeding the set length.
