Hello, I would just like to ask for suggestions on the best ways to analyze skin topography based on simple 2d skin images. Thank you.

Joaquin,

The SurfCharJ plugin has been developed for characterizing surfaces.  
The skin topography can not be quantified unless you have  
topographical maps of the skin, which may also be obtained with some  
devices. You can, however, characterize the skin texture.

Hi,
what I was thinking is to project a rectangular grid on the skin and then
quantify its distorsions on the actual surface. Hope that helps.
