Sobel: direction

Hi,

There aren't any ImageJ plugins that output the direction of the
Sobel edge, correct?  Just checking before I try and write my own
macro...Thanks.  (It appears that the "Differential" plugin, although
it provides a direction, is not using Sobel for the derivative, based
on what I gleaned from the code.)

You might look at Facet Orientation (linked under "Other plugins" on the
OptiNav site) or SurfCharJ http://www.gcsca.net/IJ/SurfCharJ.html.  They use
the Sobel kernels.
