TrackMate - track features

Rafael Buono
Hi list,

I am using TrackMate to do some single particle tracking in a few TIRF datasets.

Can anyone point me towards the explanation for the parameters one can use to filter spots/tracks?
I can understand the ones related to Intensity, but is there a website or publication that lists what the features mean and how they are calculated?
I am particularly interested in:
-Track displacement
-The ones related to Quality (mean quality, maximal quality, minimal quality, etc.)
-The ones related to velocity. Within velocity, how is a track's velocity standard deviation calculated.

Thank you in advance

Rafael

Dear Rafael,

Did you have a look at http://fiji.sc/TrackMate?

Hi Kees,

I did check at  http://fiji.sc/TrackMate

But I could not find all of the information I want/need.
I found for spot: " The quality value is set by the segmenter, and is an arbitrary measure of the likelihood of each spot to be relevant." But I don't know if it is the same for tracks, or the meaning of the other features.
