Trainable Segmentation mini-hackathon wrap-up

dscho
Dear fans of the Trainable Segmentation,

I wrote a blog post about a mini-hackathon with Ignacio Arganda-Carreras,
the maintainer of the Trainable Segmentation plugin. You might be
interested where things are going...

Ciao,
Johannes

It is in a branch in Fiji. We plan not to merge it into 'master' before
ImgLib2-ification (there is another mini-hackathon coming up next week
during which I hope to get this process started): otherwise, we would have
to support API that I would like not to support.

The branch in question is:

        https://github.com/fiji/fiji/commits/aws-unit-test

There is also second branch we created, to start improving the
performance, but we're not quite sure where this will go (there are
possible threading issues there):

        https://github.com/fiji/fiji/commits/aws-weka-instance

Please keep in mind that I consider these branches to be fair game when it
comes to completely rewriting them, breaking the API introduced, etc...
;-)

Ciao,
Dscho
