What is the setBatchMode analog in Java?

Hi,
What is the setBatchMode(true) analog in Java? I would like to turn off the
update and display of the image and the RoiManager, since my program runs
very slowly when the ROIs are moved on the screen and the RoiManager window
shows the selection of rois in a loop.
