Thank you for your reply.

I am very new to ImageJ so forgive me.

In a few words I have two X-ray images of the same object. But these images were taken using different methods ( absorption based imaging and phase contrast ).

I would like to quantitatively compare these images (say to prove one is better that the other). Maybe contrast measurements (if possible ) or signal to noise ratio.
