Zooming and selecting

Avner Mediouni
Dear Colleagues,

Is there a way to solve the following:
after making a rectangle and zooming inside this rectangle, I cannot make
a new rectangle. I need to revert to normal scale, deselect the previous
rectangle, re-zoom to were I want and then make a new rectangle.

Best regards,

Hi,
Use "Select None", shortcut SHIFT-A (CTRL-SHIFT-A on Win, CMD-SHIFT-A on Mac), before drawing the new rectangle.

Hi Avner,

you can not create a new selection inside an existing selection.
If you have zoomed into a selection press Crtl+Shift+A to delete the
current selection. Then you can create a new one.
(see menu Edit/Selection/Select None)

Regards,

Peter
