bean scripting framework (BSF) with ImageJ?

Zummy
Has anyone worked with the bean scripting framework (BSF) with ImageJ?
Looks like it might be a good replacement for macros, and might
open ImageJ up to more languages besides Java and the native macro
language.

John,

Python, one of the languages that can use the BSF, works very well in
ImageJ already. Check these sites for how-to's and examples:

http://marcora.caltech.edu/jython_imagej_howto.htm
http://www.pensament.net/java/other_plugins.html#jython
http://www.pensament.net/java/other_plugins.html#interpreter

I find the jython interpreter very useful for prototyping both python
and java plugins.
