close window.

Im using v1.42l.  Hitting w closes open windows without holding ctrl, I dont think my ctrl key is stuck... maybe this is normal but under the file menu it says close is ctrl+w.

Hi Michael,

this is a feature, not a bug (when working on images, the character  
keys without control have no function, so one can use them without  
control)

Select Edit>Option>Misc "require command key for shortcuts" to  
disable it if you don't like it.

i was using 1, 2, 3 to change types in the cell counter and accidentally hit
w.

require command key for shortcuts is now checked so I dont do something
stupid like that again
