I want to learn how to count irregular shaped particles by image J. I have microscope pictures of the particles but they are not circular or elipse. i want to post image here but i don't know how to attach the image to this message. if there is anyone to help me i can email the picture directly.
The steps i applied to picture for image processing are as follows.
* make binary
*erode
*fill holes
*watershed
*analyze particles
However, since all the particles are not circular, the number of particles are less then i expected. If anything missing or wrong please help me.
