densitometry and puncta count

Achik Haim
Hi there,

I'm interested in using ImageJ to analyze light microscopy (DAB) images for
densitometry and puncta count.
Is there a special plug-in for these functions or could I use the tools
available in my downloaded software?
Thanks!
Achik

Dear Achik,

Have a look at:
http://www.mecourse.com/landinig/software/cdeconv/cdeconv.html
http://jvsmicroscope.uta.fi/sites/default/files/software/immunomembrane-plugin/index.html
http://imagej.nih.gov/ij/plugins/ihc-toolbox/index.html
http://jvsmicroscope.uta.fi/sites/default/files/software/immunoratio-plugin/index.html

to get an idea what is out there.

Best wishes

Kees

Please be aware that unfortunately immunohistochemistry is not good for
densitometry.
This is explained in the colour deconvolution page posted by Kees,
http://www.mecourse.com/landinig/software/cdeconv/cdeconv.html
in the "Note" section.

Cheers

Gabriel
