I don't know about the contour plugin, but if you get all the coordinates that define the edge of a ROI you can then get the value of each pixel or you can create a band of one pixel width which, if it doesn’t do antialiasing (easy to check), would give you the histogram directly.

I was wondering if it's possible to histogram the pixels on an ROI created by the Contour Plotter plugin.
I can create an array of the pixel values using getSelectionCoordinates() in a macro, but unfortunately there's no function Array.getHistogram(); and the function getHistogram() works with pixels inside a selection not on its contour.
