java.io.EOFException: Unexpected end of ZLIB input stream

Jennifer spillane
Hi

I'm new to image J and have been  using it to identify regions of interest from FM destaining experiments. I need to modify these ROIs manually and resave the modified ROIs. I have about 200 ROIs per experiment.

Sometimes when I try to open a saved ROI file I get the following error message:

java.io.EOFException: Unexpected end of ZLIB input stream

and none of my modified work is saved.

Can anyone help with this??? I would greatly appreciate advice!!!

Thank you

Jennifer

Try using the Help>Update ImageJ command to update to the latest version of ImageJ (1.45q). Version 1.45n had a bug that could cause this error. Here is the relevant note from the release notes (http://imagej.nih.gov/ij/notes.html):

   1.45o 12 September 2011
Fixed a v1.45n regression that caused the ROI Manager
"Save" command to create corrupted .zip files if ROIs
      had been updated.
