looping batch image import by folder listening

Hi there,

is there a way to force imagej listening to the changes in a folder?
In special I have a looping stream of four aquired pictures being saved to a
folder and want imagej to load them one after another.
I want the four pictures in the folder to be erased and some mathematical
calculations being done.
After saving the transformed pictures to a different folder I want imagej
again to listen for aquired pictures being saved in the first folder.
