Hi, experts. I'm new here, I got a question of Image-J. I wander what is the meaning of the area in "analyze"- "analyze particle" and how does the program calculate the area there. Does the program measure the area spot by spot( pixel by pixel)of fluorescent signal within the selected area? And how does the program measure the mean value? How does the program work in terms of the relationship among sampling time, area, mean value? I would like to see if I can obtain the fluorescent intensity in the smallest area and see if it is uniform in my result. Thanks for any help for me to solve the question.
