Hello,
this is not really an ImageJ specific post, but I still wanted to let you know.
Some of you might know that I have been working a lot on visual and semantic image retrieval recently.
We have released a new version of our Internet image search system www.pixolu.de
pixolu can retrieve images (from Flickr and Yohoo) not only by their visual similarity but also by their semantic relationships to other images. The new version is much more stable and has improved visual and semantic search results.
Just type in a keyword, watch the images being sorted as they arrive. Then pick some images that are close to your desired search result and drop them to the upper area. Pressing "get similar images" will retrieve more images like the ones you have chosen.
A short summary about our activities can be found here in a video

Best regards,
Kai
